ICE DIVING…such a COOL adventure!
Our team of divers at T4SCUBA would be so happy to have you join us for this extreme learning experience!
Members of the T4SCUBA team have been teaching the PADI Ice Diving Course for over 25 years to students from all over the world. We have dive shops that return to us year after year for the unique experience. We are constantly refining our way of teaching and the equipment we use, and, with input from the students, we do not hesitate to make any changes that make the course safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
Friday starts with everyone helping to set up the tent and cut the ice hole. On Saturday be prepared for a full day ON (and under) the ice! A little more site preparation, line tending, acting as rescue divers, completing 2 dives under the ice, and lunch make for a very full day. Sunday includes a 3rd dive under the ice, more line tending and rescue diving, lunch again, a rescue scenario for those students who already have their Rescue Diver certification, and finally…tear down…what goes up, must come down (and then back up to the parking lot!)

When I took the PADI Ice Diver course with the T4 Scuba team I had just finished my Rescue Diver course. Their professionalism and dedication to diver safety made me feel comfortable and that resulted in amazing dives! Their set up is fantastic, the best Ice Diving experience you could have by far! The giant heated army tent, the food and beverage tent, the constant supply of hot water, the snacks and even the covered floor area in the tent to get geared up on, makes Ice Diving with the T4 Scuba team a very cool adventure!

Geez, where do I even start? Ice diving in Banff with some of the coolest people I have ever met, it's just beyond awesome! T4SCUBA (Terry Forsyth and his family, plus Alan) just make it happen. From the moment we met in town to the moment we packed up for home we were quite clearly in very capable hands. These guys know their stuff! It's fun, fast paced, technical adventure diving, and it was safe. When you're in the water with Terry or Alan you're safe. You might have to change your undies when you surface, but you WILL surface! I can't imagine a winter without this trip now. Thanks T4!!
